The Last Day of the Year

It's hard to believe that 2011 is over. So many things happened this year. I went on an amazing trip to New Orleans, I became a legal adult, I was accepted to college, I decided to attend a school that is almost perfect for me, I went on a trip to Eastern Europe that changed my life, I graduated high school, I spent a great two weeks in Ireland, and I started college. I made more friends than I thought possible, I finished my first semester with great grades, and most importantly, I accepted Jesus Christ into my life. Because of that decision, everything about college has been different. I have become friends with so many different types of people, and many of my closest friends at school know Jesus. I am so, so glad that I went on the Fall Retreat, where I personally accepted Jesus. How different things would be now if that hadn't happened.

I am looking forward to 2012. In one respect, it is kind of sad because now I will have to say "Oh, I graduated last year." But this is a small price to pay in the trade for a new year with a new start. I can't wait to see what God has in store for me this year!
